The most interesting and memorable thing i found in the video was when one of the student said “i would rather not eat for week than get my phone taken away” she also said “I literally feel like i’m going to die”, it is crazy how this teenagers are addicted with their phones. According psychologist Marion Underwood phone addiction is worst than drugs. 57% of teenagers would rather be grounded than getting their phone taken away because they are so anxious to know what happening online line.
My friend posted a selfie at 5:30 pm on thanksgiving with the caption " Happy Thanksgiving" and one hour later, her Instagram post had 60 comments, most of them are negative and rude. she was so upset, that she deleted all the images she posted. it is crazy how one picture can change your life.
The biggest take away from this video was don't judge person by its look or their social media posts. Don't leave negative comments on someones post, if you don't like it just ignore and move one because that one comment can change his life. I think parents should at least make an effort to know what going on with their kid's social life.
I was just as surprised as you were during that scene in the documentary. That is also terrible that your friend was attacked from her post about Thanksgiving.
